Wow! What an outstanding resto in Cottage Country!! Lovely resto situated on a lake, fabulous service by our server Kat...I had a delicious cocktail with their Rhubarb infused Gin and outstandingly plated Steak Frites (greens, sauerkraut Cole slaw, fab frites!) and they very kindly topped the steak with not only their house made garlic aioli but also with Blue Cheese from their Bison Steak special....my partner had Red Wine with Schnitzel, mashed potatoes & greens. ALL really delicious and beautifully plated!
Dropped in for lunch during a drive across Ontario and was VERY happy I did. Beautiful restaurant, with friendly service and delicious food. Will definitely be going back there on my next trip. LOVED the duck confit poutine! The mini-shop at the front was a nice touch to pick up a sweet treat for the road.

fantastic menu, Ribeye cooked perfectly to order, schnitzel melt in your mouth, duck poutine was like butter so tender, veggies were crisp and perfectly seasoned the carrot cake was devine and the service was top notch. To top it off we had a water view table and were serenaded for 2 hours by a family of 3 otters playing, and a loon. Truly spectacular! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
My new favourite restaurant in Minden. I loved it so much that I came here two nights in a row! I like that they have a feature menu that changes and a regular menu. We don’t eat meat or dairy but really wanted to try the scallop pasta that originally comes with a lobster cream. The chef was able to accommodate and made an oil base with tomatoes and it was out of this world. The skill to be able to make a new dish on the fly like that is amazing. Don’t forget to get the pecan cake! Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent Sunday night dinner! I had Seafood Wild Rice Soup for my appetizer, Chanetecler Chicken Breast for my main and Chocolate Brownie Flan for dessert. My husband had the Carrot Cake (it was the only course of his meal I remembered to photograph). Everything was delicious. We ate on the screened in porch in mid June. It was lovely and Lindsey, our server, was excellent.
Beautiful birthday meal...first time, won't be the last. Poutine with duck...massive. a must for sharing Escargot... flavourful, not drowning in butter! Pork schnitzel w mushroom...yummy! Bison tenderloin with gorgonzola. Service was great. Can't wait to go back.
Great foods, service and atmosphere I highly recommend the daily dinner menu because both of the starters, main dishes and desserts my husband and I had ordered was so delicious The server was very helpful and the host was very nice and brought my toddler paper and markers to keep him busy We were able to make a reservation on Saturday afternoon for the late evening which was 2 of their remaining tables. They were fully booked that they couldn’t accept walk-in. You should reserve online in advance.
